What's New For the 2020 Toyota Prius?
The Prius continues to get better, moving into 2020. All models now come standard with smartphone integration through both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Convenient Amazon Alexa compatibility is now found on all models as well. The touchscreen size also gets upgraded from 6.1-inches to 7-inches. Going with the Limited trim still gives you an impressive 11.6-inch screen. The popular Safety Connect bundle of services is now part of the standard equipment for the Prius.

Which Trims & Features are Available in 2020?
Choose between four great trim levels when picking out your 2020 Toyota Prius. The entry-level model is called the L Eco. This is a no bare-bones vehicle. It comes with LED headlights, automatic climate control, heated mirrors, keyless remote, and more. Choosing to go with the LE trim instead adds a rear windshield wiper, cargo cover, and a longer list of advanced driver aids.
If you are looking for even more in the way of tech and comfort features, the XLE adds soft simulated leather upholstery, a wireless charging pad, and power-adjustment for the driver's seat. Also found here are 17-inch wheels and automatic windshield wipers. As for the Limited trim, it gets that gorgeous 11.6-inch touchscreen, an upgraded audio system, sunroof, and navigation.A Perfect Blend of Power and Fuel Efficiency
Powering the new Prius is a 1.8L four-cylinder engine working with two electric motors on front-wheel-drive models. You can expect 121-horsepower from this arrangement. Those who opt for the AWD-e-version of the Prius will get an extra electric motor to power that rear axle. The L-Eco has features like a lighter battery, low-resistance tires, and a tire inflation kit to help give it an EPA estimate of 56 mpg (combined city/hwy). All other trims will give you either 52 mpg (combined city/hwy) if they are front-wheel-drive or 50 mpg (combined city/hwy) if they have the AWD-e system.
Safety Features in the Forefront for 2020
Like all vehicles made by Toyota, the Prius prioritizes safety. All models give you useful aids like forward-collision mitigation with automatic emergency braking, automatic high beams, and lane departure warning and mitigation. You will find a blind-spot monitoring system from the LE trim level and up. These models also get a fancy automated parallel parking system. Available for the XLE and standard for the Limited trim are adaptive headlights as well as a head-up display, which helps you keep your eyes on the road while still delivering important information.
