What is New for the 2023 Toyota Tundra?
Toyota redesigned the Tundra for the previous model, so most of the model's updates are small. However, buyers of the SR5 trim can add the brand-new SX appearance package to their trucks. The SX package adds black and dark gray elements to the Tundra's exterior and interior. Included are dark grey 18-inch wheels, black door handles and body trim, and a darkened rear 4x4 badge. Interior accents are also in black. Buyers can add this package to white, silver, gray, or black exterior paint colors.
What are the 2023 Tundra Trims and Features?
You'll find an almost dizzying array of trims as the Tundra comes in gas and hybrid versions. Several trims come in gas and hybrid powertrains, while the upper trims are hybrid only. Buyers can select from among the following:
- SR

- Limited
- Limited Hybrid
- 1794 Edition
- 1794 Hybrid
- Platinum
- Platinum Hybrid
- TRD Pro Hybrid
- Capstone Hybrid
The Tundra gives you a well-designed and functional interior. It comes in several configurations, with either a DoubleMax or a CrewCab, both seating five passengers, three cargo-box lengths, and rear-wheel drive or available four-wheel drive. An eight-inch touchscreen is standard, but the Limited and higher trims get a 14-inch touchscreen. Multiple USB ports, a rear power window, and keyless entry are standard. Other notable features include an easy lower and lift tailgate and Toyota Safety Sense, the manufacturer's bundle of driver aid and safety technologies. A coil-spring rear suspension provides a smoother ride when compared with other trucks.

The hybrid version is more powerful with a twin-turbocharged hybrid engine that produces 437 hp and 583 ft.-lb. of torque.
