The Crown is Toyota's upcoming addition to the lineup in the United States. It comes with some of the most advanced technology that Toyota has yet to offer. What Are the 2023 Toyota Crown Trims & Features?

The 2023 Toyota Crown will be available in XLE, Limited and Platinum trims. The XLE trim will come standard with 20-inch wheels, adaptive cruise control, a touchscreen display, a super-fast charging port, and several other features. The Limited trim is just like the XLE trim but with a few additional features, such as front and side parking sensors, leather seating, two USB ports instead of one, and a new body styling feature.

The Platinum trim will be the top-of-the-line model in the Crown lineup. It will come with more technology than any other model in the lineup, including blind spot monitoring and lane assist technology.

How Much Horsepower Does the 2023 Toyota Crown Have?

A hybrid drivetrain is standard on all Crown models, but the top-trim Platinum trim is the only one to receive Toyota's new Hybrid Max arrangement. This system combines a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor mounted on the back axle to produce 340 horsepower. A 2.5-liter inline-four and three electric motors combine to provide 236 horsepower in the XLE and Limited hybrid variants.

All-wheel drive is standard on all models, and the XLE and Limited feature a CVT, while the Platinum has a six-speed automatic. The Crown's standard engine provides sufficient acceleration; according to Toyota, it can reach 60 mph in 7.6 seconds. Due to its more potent mechanicals, the Platinum model feels quicker than advertised, reaching 60 miles per hour in 5.7 seconds. The huge four-door does have a more playful personality thanks to the Platinum trim's adjustable dampers, which make driving more of an adventure.
