What's New For the 2021 Toyota Tundra?

In 2021, the Toyota Tundra returns with more options than before with two new appearance packages to the lineup. Now you can choose to get a special Nightshade Edition as well, which is a Tundra featuring an all-black color scheme inside and out. The 2021 Tundra also introduces a new paint color for the TRD Pro, and you can choose to get a Trail Special Edition complete with additional off-road capabilities.

2021 Tundra Trims and Features

The first trim level of the 2021 Toyota Tundra is called the SR. A seven-inch infotainment display, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay complete the base technology package. Additionally, you'll get a six-speaker sound system. The SR gets numerous advanced safety aids and an integrated brake control system for trailering. The SR5 is next. Fog lights are added to this trim, which also receives a larger eight-inch infotainment display. You can get even more features through the package, including a 38-gallon fuel tank and sporty front bucket seats.

The Limited upgrades to larger 20-inch wheels and a more luxurious interior, featuring heated front seats, a power-sliding window in the back, standard LED lights, and a silver grille with chrome accents. You can get skid plates and tow hooks as add-on options. The Platinum is available in multiple bed configurations. It has heated and ventilated seats, along with navigation and a JBL sound system. Heated mirrors are also included. The TRD Pro gets 18-inch aluminum wheels, a Toyota logo grille, and a front skid plate.

The 2021 Toyota Tundra has one engine for all trims. They are powered by a new, exclusive 5.7L engine with eight cylinders. The Tundra's engine creates over 380 HP and 400 LB-FT of torque. It comes with an automatic transmission that has six speeds. Two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive are available as drivetrains.

Trailer brake control is standard on the Toyota Tundra, along with adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and forward collision mitigation. The Tundra adds fog lights and blind-spot warning on upper-level trims and packages.
