2021 Toyota Avalon

What's New for the 2021 Toyota Avalon?

Several exciting changes are happening for the already well-rounded Avalon in 2021. Select models are now available with all-wheel drive for the first time, making this sedan even more capable and practical. Android Auto is also joining the infotainment system, allowing the Avalon to be compatible with more smartphones than ever before.

A new Nightshade Edition package premieres this year. Available for the XSE, this package includes stunning 19-inch black wheels and black exterior accents. For the Avalon hybrid, a battery pack redesign allows it to take up less space without sacrificing any capability.

Which Trims & Features Are Available in 2021?

The Avalon's non-hybrid version is available in five different trims, while the hybrid can be had in three. The XLE can be had with either the gas or hybrid powertrain. It comes standard with a 9-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration, four USB ports, heated front seats, and dual-zone automatic climate control.

Either powertrain can also be had for the XSE, which gets an even bolder design. Highlights here include a wireless charging pad and unique styling elements inside and out. The final trim available with either powertrain is the Limited. This luxurious model has heated and ventilated front seats with leather trim. It also has an integrated navigation system.

The Touring trim is not available as a hybrid. Instead, it gives drivers things like quad chrome exhaust tips and adaptive suspension dampers. The exciting TRD trim has a sport-tuned suspension, rear spoiler, aerodynamic body kit, and more.
