What is the Toyota Tacoma Maintenance Schedule?
In general, Toyota recommends bringing in the 2022 Toyota Tacoma every 5,000 miles for maintenance. During the first visit, the technicians will rotate the tires, check the fluid levels, inspect the wiper blades and check the cabin air filter. To put it into perspective, 5,000 miles will usually equal about six months, but they recommend that you come in for whichever comes first. Over the course of its maintenance schedule, 150,000 miles, the Toyota Tacoma will include 40 various types of services. Check your owner's manual for the specific service intervals since this gives you the best information.
15,000-Mile Service
At the 15,000-mile mark, the technician checks your floor mat to see that it is properly installed. He will check all the fluid levels and refill them if needed. The technician inspects the windshield wiper blades, the tires rotated, and the brakes. Other things at this mark include inspection of the steering gear, radiator, and ball joints.
30,000-Mile Service
The technician checks the transmission for signs of wear and tear at the 30,000-mile mark. He will check for leakage and change the oil. For the all-wheel drive trucks, the technician will lubricate the propeller shaft and inspect the drive-shaft boots. The technician will also check the engine coolant and look at the brake components, the line, and the hoses. The fuel lines and connections will receive an inspection as well.
60,000-Mile Service
Basically, the 60,000-mile service mark follows the same format as the 30,000-mile mark. The difference here is that the technician changes the spark plugs for the 5GR-FKS engine. He will look at the drive belts as well. The technician performs a thorough inspection at the 60,000-mile mark to ensure everything works properly. He will look at the suspension and ensure that everything in the engine works well.
90,000-Mile Service
When you reach the 90,000-mile service mark, your technician performs a comprehensive service check-up to guarantee the integrity of your Tacoma. Many of the things looked at with the 60,000-mile mark will be checked again, but he will look at other things, too. While many consider 90,000 miles high, the Toyota Tacoma can run up to 200,000 miles.
To ensure the longevity of your Tacoma, you want to take it in for the service intervals. Our technicians provide the utmost care and service at every service interval for your vehicle. Schedule your check-up today!
