Tyler Litchenberger, Toyota’s Vehicle Marketing and Communications Manager, explained the concept behind the build: "We wanted to create something that not only draws attention to the truck but also serves as an activation that invites people to experience the Toyota Tundra as the ultimate sporting and adventure machine." By all accounts, the Ultimate Tailgate Tundra hit that mark and then some.
What Makes It So Special?
This truck is loaded with features that take tailgating to a whole new level. It starts with a JBL Club Marine audio system, boasting 10-inch subwoofers and a sleek design that delivers crystal-clear sound, almost as if you could see the music.
But the audio is just the beginning. The Tundra also comes equipped with five 55-inch weatherproof outdoor screens, perfect for catching the game no matter where you are. And to combat glare, Toyota added a rack-mounted 180 Dual + R-Filler canopy, providing a shaded viewing area ideal for cheering on your favorite NFL teams.
Mike Tripp, Group Vice President of Toyota Division Marketing, summed it up perfectly: "The Ultimate Tailgate Tundra allows us to celebrate our NFL partnership and showcase Tundra in just one of its many lifestyle applications." He added that the truck will soon be "coming to a stadium near you."
