Perfect for kids of all ages, the 2017 Adventure Tour at Fantastic Caverns, located at 4872 North Farm Road in Springfield, is sure to satisfy your exploratory style. Occurring daily through Sunday, Apr. 30, 2017, the new program offers an underground experience that you’ll never forget.

The 90-minute tours, which start at 10 a.m. and noon, take visitors through a winding path of fossilized rocks that are sure to make you look twice. Also included in the tour is a fossil unit at the cave’s underground classroom, which makes learning about the rock formations easy and interactive.

No need to worry about having to walk through this lengthy natural wonder either. That’s because you’ll get to sit back and relax in the comfort of an open-air vehicle that will take you through the winding paths of the cave. Plus, the temperature always remains around a comfortable 60 degrees in this awe-inspiring attraction, making it a year-round spot for fun and excitement.

Admission is free for teachers, $6 for students in grades K-8 and $17.50 for adults.

A longtime Springfield favorite, the caverns are like nothing you’ve ever seen before. We hope you have a great time!
